Diabetes is a long-lasting disease that occurs when the pancreas is not enough to make insulin, or when the body cannot use properly of the insulin it produces.

Diabetes Mellitus is a disease of pancreas. The pancreas is responsible for producing the hormone insulin. Insulin assists the body with using food for energy. Diabetes is not use insulin properly or lacking to produce enough insulin for body. Insulin works to deliver glucose into the cells to be burned up as energy. When body has insufficient level of insulin glucose levels instantly increase. This is because the glucose can’t enter the body’s cells to burned up fuel. Diabetes is also mentioned as hyperglycaemia or high blood sugar.

Types of Diabetes:

There are two types of diabetes- Type 1 and type 2

  • Type 1 Diabetes can develop at any age, but occurs most frequently in children and teenagers. When you have type 1 diabetes, your body produces very small or no insulin, which means that you need daily insulin injections or medicines to maintain blood glucose levels under control.
  • Type 2 diabetes is more common in adults. When you have type 2 diabetes, your body does not proper of the insulin that it produces. The cornerstone of type 2 diabetes treatment is healthy lifestyle, including increased physical activity and healthy diet. However, over time most people with type 2 diabetes will require oral drugs and/or insulin to keep their blood glucose levels under control.

There is no common diabetes cause that fits every type of diabetes.

You are most commonly become type 2 diabetes patient, if you are not physically active and are overweight, stressed and overthinking. Over weight sometimes causes insulin resistance and is usual for diabetes patient. The location of body fat also makes a difference. Over belly fat is connected to insulin resistance, diabetes, and heart and blood vessel disease.

When blood sugar levels are high, the kidneys need to remove the excess sugar by filtering it out of the blood. This can lead to a person requiring to urinate more often, specially at night.

2. Feeling Thirsty

The frequent urination that is necessary to remove excess sugar from the blood can result in the body losing additional water. This can be cause dehydration and low glucose in body.

3. Feeling Hungry

Diabetes patient frequently do not get sufficient energy from the food they eat and they need food very frequently.

4. Feeling Extreme Fatigue

Diabetes can impact on a person’s energy levels and cause them to feel very tired or fatigue. Lacking of energy can annoy and irritate in small thing as usual.

5. Blurry Vision

An excess of sugar in the blood can damage the tiny blood vessels in the eyes, which can cause blurry vision. This blurry vision can occur in one or both of the eyes and may come and go.

6.Cuts Are Slow To Heal

High levels of sugar in the blood can impact the body’s nerves and blood vessels, which can damage blood circulation. The result, even small cuts and wounds may take weeks or months to heal.

7. Weight Loss

Lacking of energy in a person can cause of his weight loss.

8. Numbness In The Hands/Feet

High blood sugar levels can affect blood circulation and damage the body’s nerves. In people with type 2 diabetes, this can lead to pain or a sensation of tingling or numbness in the hands and feet.
