Below is the list of upcoming features which are expecting very soon:
The Boomerang video feature became popular on Instagram and users liked it most, now users are expecting this feature in WhatsApp. The Boomerang feature will soon make its way to the app through the video type panel. The panel ready allow users to pick video or GIF as the format. It will now have an additional option with an arrow pointing to the left indicating Boomerang as a third format. WhatsApp already allowed the GIF feature to users. However, no official announcement has been made as to when will the feature be launched.
Dark mode was recently found in a lot of different ways of apps, Mostly to get in synchronise with system-wide dark mode on Android 10. Which is expected to launch in the coming months. WhatsApp should also be ready with its Dark Mode feature comparing Facebook Messenger App in which this feature was introduced just recently. The feature will not just improve the magnificent but also reduce the strain on eyes while using App during night time. which will make us more comfortable and will be good for eyes while users use WhatsApp in night.
Memoji allows users to create individualised stickers and emoticons. WhatsApp has already introduce Memoji Sticker feature for iOS user with the latest beta version 2.19.90.23, with a wider roll-out expected in the coming weeks.
WhatsApp will soon launch a new ‘Albums’ feature for its Web version which will allow users to group media like photos, GIF and videos. The feature is already available on the mobile app since 2018 and it is most popular. Now, the feature would soon be added to the Web version. So it will make more easier for user to use web version also.
